It has been a great week, full of LOTS of tough workouts. I just wanted to take a minute and congratulate EVERYONE on working so hard this week! We have had a lot of strength and then a crazy endurance workout yesterday and everyone has really pushed themselves and broken through a lot of mental barriers, so you need to be proud of yourselves!

NEXT NUTRITION SEMINAR IS JULY 13TH (TUESDAY) AT 6:30! OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

We will be focusing a little more on the Paleo diet and the ideology behind it as well as how to apply it to the Zone if you are doing the Zone already!  This is free and open to the public so if you have friends that would like to learn more about how to eat for health, weight loss and performance, bring them with ya!

YOGA IS COMING TO SURGE!

We  are excited to announce that we will now be offering Yoga  a few times a week taught by the amazing Jackie Wolfe. She is a great instructor and will teach yoga geared to athletes. We know that none of us work on flexibility quite enough, so having Yoga here will give us all the chance to become more well rounded athletes! Please let us know what days and times you would be able to attend Yoga so that we can schedule it when everyone could participate.  The 5:15am crew has requested a 5:15 Thursday morning since that is their normal rest day. Post to comments other times you would like to see, she is available Sat and even Sun.

RINGS? HOLD? HANDTANDS?

We are also excited to announce that we are in the process of having a gymnastic “coach” come in and teach us some gymnastic skills! Much like everything else, knowing the right technique will make us all better and stronger. We are not sure how soon this is going to start but hopefully this month! We will work on rings, handstands, holds, etc!

We have a steady flow of new CrossFitters that we want to welcome! Nick, Charli, Cory, Dan, Daniel, David and Julie! We are so happy to have all of you and can’t wait to see your progress!
